About Me!

HELLO!

I am Rebecca Fixel, CEO (HBIC) of First Coast Vendor Village! (small business popups), ABecca Leggings (butter soft leggings), Bobbles, Bangles & Bling, (the jewelry side of my business), Millie Moo's Market (the puppy clothing side) and a Real Estate Brokerage that remains active, although I do not do much with it anymore. In a word... Hustler! :)

First Coast Vendor Village (my bead and butter) is a local small business popup organized in subdivisions and HOA communities in Duval and surrounding counties.

Every First Coast Vendor Village has at least one food truck, a specialty vendor (such as coffee or ice cream), usually inflatables or free entertainment for the kids, music entertainment and several local, small business vendors. Villages are set up in a well seen area of the property usually in front of the office, clubhouse or on the amenity field. Indoor villages are few and noted on the schedule.

Vendor villages are $55 each for a 10x10 outdoor space with some villages a bit more if a fee to the community is required. Some properties are on a 1-4 month rotation. I am also adding new locations all the time.

Each vendor is required to have a 10x10 canopy (tent) and weights. Then you will need table(s) and chair(s) for your product or service.  Nothing is provided for your setup besides advice. :)

As a full-time vendor myself, I  know the importance of marketing and networking. I have opportunities to advertise your business!  I advertise our vendor village to each community in several ways. With the use of flyers, targeted marketing, yard signs and social media, I work with the CDD or HOA management in each community to reach residents. I also create advertising which is shared with their residents.

I am Rebecca Fixel and have been running FCVV since post pandemic. I’ve been a full time small business vendor for over 15 years. With my experience participating in and running markets, festivals and “villages” (as I likes to call them) of all kinds, I  have a good sense of what small business vendors need and what customers want. Although I can’t force people to buy, I  really do my  best to set my vendors up for success!
